This game is amazing. Let me put that a different way, it's insanely fun. This game is worth all that and more. For being a DS game it surprised me. The game is plain awesome. It's scary in all the right ways, the controls are awesome, and it even makes the limited graphics processor push its limits. For being the first try at the game, it's visually stunning. The monsters aren't pixelated, the blood doesn't look like a red stain but more like a blood puddle and the guns aren't blobs of color. The only problem with this game is level design. Except for a few rooms along the way and boss rooms, they all look the same. BUT, the game completely makes up for it by making the player worry about other things like how they are going to kill the enemy that surprised them on the other side of a door. The enemies are reused, but upgraded through the game, but thats good enough to keep you on your toes. This game will give you a scare, but is definitely a better one played at night. All in all a great game.
