Greg Kasavin fills in for Scott Osborne to tell us about this disappointing Delta Force game.
6 words for Black Hawk Down: awesome movie, sad story, ruined game. The AI is stupid, no realism at all, and the game-play is just running and gunning. Overall: total garbage.
I love how the ACTUAL reviewer didn't say too much about multiplayer. I'm writing my review right now for TGN Games and I've been pleased with the game's multiplayer, especially after patches, for months. Don't listen to this review. The guy only thinks of it as a single-player game with multiplayer when it's the exact opposite. And sucks that Kasavin got kicked...
2 years before cod 2?
plzz some one give mme that game plzz
i remember going through the campaign hundreds of times. then i got Halo: Combat Evolved and found out what a real FPS is
I remember the old Delta Force games, they were so much better
I agree wth AntsuH greg kasavin is the best reviewer on this site~
dakan45, you are a troll or something, judging by your comment. Greg was one of the best reviewers, right after Navarro.
@t- bone 1510 greg os pme pf tje worst reviewers, thank god the fire him, this review is wrong, the game is not arcade, it aint easy and weapons miss...this game is fun it has very nice missions unlike the new death borring crap, this game deserves at the worst case a 6,5 or a 7 and by that i mean that you cant rate it lower than that. example of how this review is wrong, the expansion team sabre which is pure unplayable garbage got 7+, what for its 10 times worse while black hawk is actually pretty good, thank god they fired him.
martini greg is one of gamespots best his reviews are accurate, shame they let him go
excellent game, multiplayer however is definitely its strong point, still don't listen to this review in particular its a great game even if it has aged. (although this is a viewpoint form a long time delta force series fan).
great movie, but mediocre game.
This game was great! Granted, I was about 12. Still, it was the first multiplayer and FPS game I ever played.
This game was below average, but it did provide the basis for a very good game, joint operations.
If you had nothing better to do with a Saturday morning, Delta Force might keep you from tying a wrench to your cats tail. But it won't keep you seriously entertained for very long. In fact you'll spend most of the time wondering if it wouldn't be worth while to try and find something better to do. But only after the graphics get old. Unfortunately, they are VERY old now. But, all that being said, the game isn't terrible. The review says it all.
I remember seeing the documentary about this event. Tense stuff, although it's kinda sad that nobody's been able to do it justice.
true, delta force: black hawk down is a lame game
