This doesnt deserve to be called a Def Jam game.

You may disagree with the score i gave this game,but its because the game is just to boring.Its nothing like the previous def jam game.The other one was really fun this one just plain sucks.I cant believe gamespot gave it a 8.1.First off the reason it sucks is because its character roster is way smaller than the previous game.In this game you are suspossed to sign people to your record label and fight people who give them problems to me thats just not very fun.Its more you just run around fighting people for really stupid reasons.The fighting styles are not that great there is NO finishers like in the previous game.You basically do the same punches and kicks over and over until you knock your opponent out.Another stupid feature is the DJ controls,for example you can have your opponents near different things in each stage when you use the DJ controls the hazardous stuff will send you flying like if your near a car thats got a lot of bass the car will squal tires and hit you with the back end of the car sending you flying.To me thats just not interesting and gets old really fast.Another is the crappy story the story has no purpose really because it was done so poorly.The only good thing about the game are the character graphics they actually look like the characters,and the soundtrack is half decent it could have been so much better if they would have added more songs.So overall this game just plain sucks.I give it a 5.0
The Good-Has fairly good music and good graphics.Great clothes and jewelery selection for the fighters.
The Bad-Character roster is very small.Everyone's moves are basically the same.No finishers or signature moves like in the previous games.The gameplay sucks because you cant do anything but punches and kicks theres no variety.Bad story thats not good enough to be a game.
