why is everyone so excited by this, it looks crap! the graphics look atrocious and the gameplay just looks like its gonna be poor and buggy

Wow, this looks great. I love the sense of style and amazing audio development in the trailer. The gameplay graphics may be a little low but sometimes minimalistic horror works well. Despite owning a PS3 I still found resident evil 1 fun.

@darealg are you joking? what did you find here similar to the resident evil? absolutely different game and feeling. maybe silent hill for you also is a knock off of resident evil? lol

I dont usually comment on anything, even though Ive been a member here for years, but I had to sign in to comment on this game, it is quiet possibly THE BEST, game I have ever played, think of Silent Hill/GTA/Twin Peaks, put into One, I dont know if it already came out on PS3 but you guys should definitely buy it, the graphics dont look any better on Xbox 360, but Im telling you this game is awesome, its what Alan Wake should have been like, if this game had "better graphics and control" it would be Number One on everyones list, its THAT good.

looks creepier and even more twisted than Siren. Very disturbing.. sounds like fun. The frame rate looks extremely fast though, it kinda makes the game look like a parody. I hope they slow it down. Slow fps suits horror games, adds to the atmosphere, otherwise it's gonna feel like Call Of Duty 4.

this game looks great, as long as it sets the right atmosphere it'll be freaky as hell no matter what the graphics are like. I never understood why people rate graphics over gameplay. I mean the fact that people are still playing games like FF 7 or Sonic is because of the gameplay. Good graphics only last so long when the next gen consoles comes out even beautiful games like Uncharted 1 and 2 or the most recent Modern War Fare games wont look that great any more and will have to stand up on their gameplay and storyline If those two elements aren't there then no one will play them and they wont last as long as some of today's MegaDrive and SNES classics.

This was called Rainy Woods before it came out and it was so much like Twin Peaks i would have thought it would get a lawsuit but it looks like theyve changed alot since it was called Rainy Woods. Im def picking this up, for being a HUGE Twin Peaks fan and survival horror. And to everyone complaining about the graphics, i have a question. WHY? why does it matter? Ok yeah we get it you cant play a game unless it had great graphics, but whats funny is that at one point everyone has played games with sh!tty graphics( not saying this game has bad graphics, i love it) OH NO the graphics arent top of the line, im not playing this. thats the type of close minded people that are in the gaming world today. you dont like it? cool, just dont get it. why would you leave more then one comment about how sh!tty a game is if you disapprove? doesnt really make sense.

gotta give some credit for taking a slightly different step into survival horror, as apposed to silent hill. which i love, but havent enjoyed any new series. i want more games like this. they need to see that theres a big enough fan base to go true next gen on these kinda games.

I just bought this game and I'm anxious to play it! If story and characters are tight, that's good enough for me. Besides, how many games have we seen that look great but ultimately stink like hot garbage?

Some of you people who are just about graphics are some spoiled little girls. Sometimes games are badass no matter how the game looks. This game is scary and keep you on edge. An 8 in my book.

Awesome XD Looks like SH2 on the PS2. Quality of the graphics isn't THAT bad. Because the game reminds of Silent Hill, I'm buying it!

The game it s great it´s just it has low quality graphics and the controls are...so-so. But don´t get discourage it´s a great mystery thriller and i´s really long. If you liked twin peaks It´s a must have and it´s only 20 bucks
