Like Playing An Action Movie.

User Rating: 7.5 | Dead to Rights GC
Dead to Rights is like playing an 80's/90's action movie. It has some great tense shoot outs unlike any other game I've played before. The story follow Slate framed for murder he must prove he's innocent and find out who killed his dad. Each chapter plays like a movie scene. Filled with Slate inner monologuing and over the top villeins. Each place providing a different place for a shoot out though it hardly ever takes advantage of it. Shooting uses a lock on to it's aiming and even offers a beat em fighting for take downs and fighting unarmed There's also a cover system with human shields to help you out as well. . It works for the most part but there is some chunkiness and when you can't target a foe it's kinda annoying, but when the game gets going with no problems it's fast paced and tense and hell of a lot of fun. The game though has two problems that keep it from greatness. One the check points, they are too far and between and when you die and have to go back it gets to you. Two the flow, the game stops at times for mini games that are not any fun. Over all it's a fun game that's at it's best when the flow is right. When there's no clumsiness and no mini games just guys to shoot and plenty of bullets. it's less than $5 so why not get it.
