Dead to Rights: Reckoning isn't necessarily bad but it is never worth purchasing regardless how low the price is...

Dead to Rights: Reckoning isn't that bad. It certainly is easy at times and hard at other times. Sometimes you have just about enough health to finish the level, sometimes you don't even get shot once thanks to the dodging system, the slow-motion bullet-time mode they stole from other great games such as Max Payne.

The graphics are terrible. If Dark Mirror and other games looked much more sharper and greater, I see why not this game could have done better. Hell, even PS1 games look better than this.

Level design looks bland. It's like everything you see is the same.
No difference really most the time.

There is no cover system so all you can do is just keep jumping into the air, taking as many hits and shooting as possible. The game does have an arcade-style atmosphere with a HUD which keeps showing what moves you performed, how much points you earned and stuff every five seconds.

The game certainly does look brutal for the time, especially by PSP standards. Enemy AI is terrible, they don't bother even looking for you, they shoot randomly, really, at times you walk up to a bad guy, and he just stands there, looking at you, and he only reacts after you shoot him a couple of times, yet then when you walk behind him after you shoot him from the front, he keeps shooting the opposite direction. So stupid this is...

The game has a very-short campaign (game can be completed within 2 hours) and this is pretty good cause really, who wants to play through a long, crappy game.

Overall, it's an okay game and certainly does have a share of fun bits but the developers don't give the gamer to give much time for them to enjoy the guilty pleasure. Do not buy it by any chance though, it really is horrible. Only bother playing it if you found it in your neighbor's trashcan or someone gave it to you for free.
