In space, noone can hear you scream...
Although it may 'borrow' many an element or idea from movies like alien or the thing, Dead Space can still really hold up as it's own franchise without being accused of plagerism. Being the only mug brave (or stupid) enough to run errands around a ship full of the freakiest wierdos you've seen since Silent Hill, can be extremely challenging and terrifying, armed with mining equipment and a few weapons you boldly go and try and find out what happend to the crew of the Ishimura. The story of this sci-fi survival horror is intriguing and will captivate you till the end. The graphics are true eye candy especially as you progress and the controls are just right. The anti-gravity levels can seem at bit strange at first but you get used to them.
All in all, recommended.
