I'll start with the good. The atmosphere and soundtrack are brilliant. The voice acting is some of the best I've heard in any game. The area seems to be immersive and is one I would love to deeply explore. Except one thing, I can't. I don't understand why a game would dangle all these perfect aspects in front of my face and yet all the time keep them out of my reach. I would have given this game a much higher score if I could actually play it, rather than it playing itself for me. An easy 5-6 point deduction for the player not being in control of the character's movements. Glad I borrowed it from a friend instead of buying or even renting it.
So I guess now that I have looked more into things about this game I find out it's classified as "On A Rail". Makes sense. Feels more like a parking-lot carnival haunted house ride that goes through and stops the car in front of some animatronic ghoul than an adventure I am partaking in.
