Yawn.....oh look, another necromorph to shoot..pew pew pew. Ohh..lets add a co-op feature that degrades the game and ruins the horror experience. This game is just a total rehash and a poor one at that of the superb Dead Space and the not as good Dead Space 2, and the excellent little Wii title Dead Space Extraction. With Dead Space 3 we have corporate gaming. They think.."Give em more monsters to shoot..and let them do it with a buddy." It's COD in space. Creativity is flushed down the toilet. Now take Bioshock Infinite..also a number 3, but a superb game. Same basic gameplay, but a real story, a great setting ans interesting characters. Dead Space 3 gives us flat one dimensional characters, a lame story and a ludicrous romance, and worse, it ignores the games mythology established in earlier games. They would have been much better off making the story about the young soldier at the start of the game.
Dead Space has been one of my favorite newer franchises. The story line is as simple as it can get. But they manage to create this simply haunting environment that continuously keeps you on the edge of your seat. The new... Read Full Review
