I love the Dead Space franchise since I first picked up a copy of the original Dead Space a couple years after its release. I remember seeing commercials for the original and really never having an interest in playing it, thinking and believing to myself that it was probably a game that was made similar to Resident Evil. But one day while at GameStop I came upon it used for $10 and I said sure why not I needed some spice in my gaming life. I could not put down the control other than to work, sleep, eat, and of course have the occasional social life. But I wanted to finish it because the 2nd installments release wasn't too far away. When I beat the game I was left wanting more, and when the 2nd was released pummeled it into the ground and continue to play it now upping the difficulty with every pass through. Though the impossible mode with three saves is extremely....well....impossible. I enjoyed the in depth story line, and Dead Space 3 brings it all back, as a veteran to the Dead Space game you are aware of everything in your environment. I notice ventilation shafts and areas where Necromorphs await an ambush. I listen for noise, allowing me to figure out a distance and direction that my enemy may be in. It gives you that nostalgic feeling that your gonna own this game like you did its predecessors and that your not gonna let the necromorphs drag you down. I have to say I do like the improved ammunition's they give that are for all types of firearms making carrying things in your inventory much more simple than it was in the first two games. I like how you can craft weapons and can collect all sorts of valuables, I dislike the crouch feature cause in Dead Space you have to be aggressive not cowardly. But in all speculation the game is awesome and I hope another one follows behind it. I am not disappointed with this at all. I just want to know what happens next.
