I've noticed a recent trend with game launch trailers featuring popular songs/hits that just contradict and really don't go with the advertised game.
Also super duper trailer ending spoilers:
HAHAHAHA Issac's had enough with EA I'm guessing, that expression followed by him leaping off the cliff down at the marker (to his death)...................... Poor sod didn't have enough credits to buy enough resources it seems........

Really? I thought it fit very well.
I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh Lord
And I've been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh Lord
Can you feel it coming in the air tonight, oh Lord, oh Lord
It sounds more ominous when you take in the lyrics with what Isaac is doing and seeing
And the lyrics before that compound this even further when you take in Isaac's entire journey.
If you listen to the complete song, and picture all the DS games leading up the the finale, the song is damn near perfect for describing the games.
I liked the trailer and the song, and thought they went well together.

Well I'm pumped lol. I don't know how some of you don't like this trailer (though I do wish we could have seen Isaac kill some Necros in some cinematic goodness). I'm assuming this guy also does the voice and motion capture for Isaac? In that case he would be perfect if they ever did a live-action adaptation.

Eh, not too big of the "Real Gameplay Footage" stuff, rather they have made it an awesome scripted sequence.
Also, the song blows.

No nursery rhyme trailer? I am disappoint Visceral..
Also Isaac is looking pretty bad-ass these days, he's starting to remind me of Master Chief from Halo or something, firstly he's more the silent type, then in later games they make him more talkative and bring out his emotions more. Next trailer we'll have about 100 or so necros running towards him and him pulling out some chain gun and mowing them down.

Song doesn't fit, CGI kept Gunner's head instead of using Isaac, didn't illustrate either the combat or the horror.
This is exactly why the the CGI trailer for ME3 was a waste of money.

DS2 improves on DS in nearly every single way. problem with DS2 is that you're having too much fun to be scared.~sc0ttmst

Read my post above about the song.
And the whole intro and later were live action not cgi (except some of the suit effects and the PC) and why wouldn't they keep Gunner's head? He is after all the actor/model/voice for Isaac.

No doubt, not to mention the fact that Gunner Wright is an actual live-action actor.

They should of used 'I Don't Care Anymore' instead, would of been more fitting.

The trailer was as epic as this game is going to be... Most of the people (if not all) on these boards are just so spoiled and judgemental... It played well, it looks 100x better (graphically), and the environments are going to be incredible. We get to see some planet side...
I say again, bring it on Visceral

Snarky hipster comments abound! "WhY no SKaRy?" "loSt PlaneT SeequAL!" "SoNg NO FIT!" "MiKroTRANSacSHuns!"
I swear, it's like some of these people have never played the previous games. Please go away.

What's a vaguely relevant nursery rhyme they could have corrupted for this, since it's too bad they didn't make a nursery rhyme trailer for DS3.
So far all I can think of Is with Tau being covered in snow..
See the pretty snowfakes
Falling from the sky;
On the wall and housetops
Soft and thick they lie.
On the window ledges,
On the branches bare;
Now how fast they gather,
Filling all the air.
Look into the garden,
Where the grass was green;
Covered by the snowflakes,
Not a blade is seen.
Now the bare black bushes
All look soft and white,
Every twig is laden,
What a pretty sight!
