After seeing how nice the dev edition turned out I am thinking about it. I should probably decide now with that limit of 1000.

The clamshell edition is just the artbook with nicer packaging and some bonus stuff. No actual game.

Having said that, I did order one but UPS messed up trying to deliver my order so now it's M.I.A.
