Dead Space is to be played in the dark with the lights out and a headphone being used for sound. If done right it can be frightening.
these people seem to know what they're talking about. but ever since fable, i'm weary of all sweet sounding interviews before a game actually comes out. crossing my fingers.
I seriously cant wait for this! Ever since dead space i have longed for this game so i can turn the lights off, stick on the headphones & scare the life out of myself. Bring it on, dead space rules!
please i like when monsters pop out from closets... i hate action so make a horror game not a cheap 3rd person action game
This is the kind of game that's brilliant, but not quite popular enough, which is why they shouldn't focus so much on multiplayer.
@TheGrudge13 I feel the same and I think a lot of people do. Hopefully the devs listened to the audience rather than just doing what they think is best (as I think is often the case). I do however now understand better why they wanted action sequences, apart from great scripted moments, is to make the moments when you arent so powerful feel even more powerless. it is a delicate line, though, so we shall see.
maybe it's just me but every time i see something about this time i get convinced more and more that they will ruin it and make it an action game not a horror game ( i hope i'm wrong because i loved Dead Space 1 )
I did try the MP beta and it was awesome. The SP so far what I am seeing looks great. So I'd advise get the game, play the SP and go online with 3 of your other buddies. 4 on 4 match that rely on skill is more fun than having an game that rely on items/loot.
I love getting scared, its a combination of dread, nervousness and excitement, bring it on! :D
Hey, As long as the game game makes me jump and say WTF!? i'm ready for whatever horrible creatures and events you throw at me. Cause this game is the Definition of Survival Horror. (Sorry Resident Evil you've lost your luster)
