Dead Space 2

Best Science Fiction Horror game ever made.

I loved the first Dead Space for bringing back survival horror where RE dropped the ball. Still, something about the first DS felt stiff, slightly repetitive, and with (a few) too many cheap surprises.

DS2 improves on all these short comings. Although the events are scripted, DS2 manages to be unpredictable - but not cheap. The locations are absolutely breathtaking. The diversity of realistic environments is possibly the games greatest strength.

--There has never been a more diverse and fully realized Sci-Fi location in any video game. Period.

By the time you are finished, you have seen so much eye candy. Endured so many frights. Escaped so many highly detailed areas... You become fully engrossed in the DS world in a way that is unique to this game, but compares to the original Alien movie.

Bottom line: Any Sci-Fi lover. Any Aliens fan. Any RPG or RE fan has a good chance to fall in love with DS2.
