Executive producer Steve Papoutsis talks about the new zero gravity mechanic in Dead Space 2.
@sam4545 More action doesn't necessarily mean less horror. Just less down time between the scarier scenes. I know where everything hides on Dead Space, so a second time through wouldn't be scary, but more action could make it more enjoyable the second time through.
i want play now

yeahhhh can't wait
This game will be awesome i love Resident evil series - silent hill - dead space - F.e.a.r
Definitely Alien series of gaming, awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I loved Dead space but it was only scary to start off with when you have crash landed on the ishimura and you are investigating and you see your first enemy that was scary but later on you just expect an enemy to jump at you and you just go oh an enemy bang killed it time ot move on i hope they have improved from that also the first one was easy even on hard setting and the last boss was just a fail all you had to do is avoid a few tentavles and shoot the glowing orbs on the enemy seriously. Dead space 2 looks great though and more enemies im definatly getting this one as long as i dont know what to expect in every area i go an enemy trying to attack me, well halo jumpings a start...
damn! it looks awesome

I agree with a more action's oriented gaming, too much horror will do bad for the franchise. Doom 4 is on that way of thinking too. Its good to know that Dead Space is being well directed even after the first game. Good to see a deep mechanic on zero gravity by the way. I just hope that the DS quality stills in there to deliver some innovative and surprising things in-game.
Well, I hope they do a better job with the controls on the pc this time. It was absolutely horrible on the pc. I found the first one Only playable on the xbox, even if I plugged in the 360 controller on the pc it's still not working properly. (Waay too slow and the sensitivity adjustment just makes it worse)
At least it coming to PC still :D (For Now)
:D good
Less horror more action? Not sold. Good thing about the first game was that it was different compared to the other million shooters out there.
hmmm, I don't know if I like the slickness of the environments i'm seeing so far, tenseness and claustrophobia were paramount to Dead Space 1, it should be interesting to see how they balance it out!
delayed delayed delayed...
fantastic game :D
I have a feeling Dragon Age II is gonna get delayed
What would video games, and Movies do without Sci-Fi? Honestly they would have ended a long time ago.
I'm gonna be so angry if this game gets delayed but it's already on 2011
IM ALREADY GETTING SCARED..:P
so many good games coming out in q1, some are gonna end up being delayed.
i love to play this
Great!.
Epic!
Awesome quality, wow. This game looks awesome I think one of the best survival horror I have played. Yeah Residen Evil and Silent Hill are good too.
incredibly pumped for this game, all the more after I saw this video. these guys have been truly passionate with Dead Space since the beginning; this one is going to be EPIC.
WOW.
Wow, that looks awesome. I might actually buy this game now
@devilka_7 What?

Can't wait!
i'm having christmas in january look how many titles are coming out then
O.O
im going to buy a projector just to play this game
some one help me collect my brain form the floor. omg
The halo jump looks similar to god of war 3 when he was falling back down the hole thing. But anyways, this game looks badass. I look forward to buying this for my ps3 because you get dead space extraction with it for the ps move.
Ok, the first game was the only game in my life that I was actually afraid to play in the dark. I'm 30 :) p.s. any ideas if there's gonna be some multiplayer? don't imagine how would you play it, but just curious :)
Untouchable! This game will be mega, it gets better the more I hear about it.
This game looks gorgeous. Cant wait to get my hands on it
Looks good can't wait!
Dead Space is by far the scariest game I have ever played
i just bought the first one for 10 Euros and its amazing!! (and yeah really scary). I finally understand why it had so many good ratings. The only parts that it could be better its when you are in Zero gravity cause you stick to the ground, but it seems they fixed that on the sequel.
im going to have an orgasm when i get this game . . . if i dont get a heart attack . . .
first ruled im hopeing this will be a great game!
i like his shirt
The first one was a horrendous game. I was terrified from start to finish. Then replayed it on hard mode and it was even more pant-stainingly horrifying. This is a must buy.
I can't wait
It sounds very good
