Extremely tight timeline and horrible friendly AI makes this game dreadful to play.

Generally what I had to say was summed up by the GameSpot review already, the good included.

As a critic, I will place my emphasis on the things I dislike. I AM aware that they fixed a great many flaws in Dead Rising 2. That game is the reason why I even bothered to play Dead Rising.

Compared to its sequel, Dead Rising is definitely a hell hole.

1. Item slots are too few. I'm Level 20, almost halfway to 50, but I still find myself in bad need of inventory space.

2. Aiming mode is retarded. Luckily, I'm beginning to compensate the negative effects myself.

3. Friendly AI is super dumb. That's why I prefer to take them right back to the security room. I couldn't stand being their acquaintances.

It's time to stop writing and restart the whole sh*t the fifth time. Hate me if you wish. I don't recommend this game.
