Otis is annoying.

It's one thing when you have to answer a senile old janitor's walkie talkie calls in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. It's a whole other thing when if you accidentally cut off his dialog box then he'll recall you and succumb you to being defenseless until he's done blabbing on about a survivor. I don't get why we don't get the options to scroll through the text at our own pace...

There's so many missions hurled at you at once that I don't think it's possible to finish them all. It's awesome how many different mundane objects can be used as zombie slaughtering apparatuses. Truly a work of art in that regard. It would be cool if they used more of the food crafting systems though.

The bosses are really the highlight of this game to me, each of them being memorable and unique enough to stand out on their own. My favorite bosses are the military vet in the hardware store because his story seems genuine and unique. And the family of 3 snipers with one reluctant to harm anyone. These characters are fleshed out well and feel like real people.

Some cheesy bosses are the creepy police officer woman who can stun lock you and drain your hp if you get stuck being tased by her. Also the fight with isabella on the motorcycle feels kind of broken.

Overall it's a great game but it could have used some more work smoothing out the missions.

Also I never noticed it before when I played on xbox 360 but on the ps4 version if I'm holding the movement stick in one direction then flick it in another Frank will do a flip when I'm not intentionally commanding it, and there's no options in the controls to adjust this.

The trophies range from pretty easy to incredibly difficult and you get a lot of fun gaming out of trying to kill the entire Williamette population.

The biggest flaws are just that the beginning of the game is paced very weird with so much thrown at you once it can be overwhelming. But if you stick through it It's a worthwhile one of a kind experience.
