Gameplay is fun, however level and enemy design gets extremely tedious, and very poor enemy graphics and sounds.

User Rating: 6.5 | Dead Rising: Zombie no Ikenie WII
Using Resident Evil 4's engine for this wii port, was a smart move, but was executed poorly graphically.
Over the shoulder camera view shoulder blasting fun, sounds great, and it is, but can get extremely tedious because you are put into the same levels over and over again.

Now to break it into parts..

GAMEPLAY:
Fun, mindless entertainment seems to wear thin at a fast pace, because within the story, there is a lot of "Sub quests" that you must do to get to the next part of the story, which is going through the same 3-4 levels over and over rescuing people.

STORY :
The story is about the only thing that will keep you even wanting to play it after about halfway, when you keep getting cut off the story because you have to go rescue yet ANOTHER person, which can get really annoying.

SOUND EFFECTS:
Though the guns have the same sound effects from Resident Evil 4, that doesn't bother me at all, because don't fix what isn't broken. How ever, what in gods name was capcom thinking when they made the Zombie sound effects?! It sounds horribly muffled and it's just terrible, sounds like its coming out of a toilet!

ENEMYS & Bosses:
Same thing over and over, with a few rare new enemy from time to time, which is a boss, Bosses are fun this game, and can be pretty challenging, I just wished they made a more of a variety with normal enemy's, would have been a massive upgrade. With the few new enemys in this port, the bombing birds are so damn annoying it makes you want to chuck your wii remote at the screen.

GRAPHICS & MODELS :
Graphically, this is the biggest let down there is in this game. Though the main character looks fine, and he has about the graphics you'd expect out of a Wii game, Enemy's are a completely different story. What are they?! A walking blurr?! Do they even have a face?! I am aware the Wii is no xbox360 or Ps3 when it comes to graphically terms, even though I am fully aware that some people will say it's because there is so many enemy's on the screen at once, that really makes no sense, because there is never more then 10-15 enemy's on the screen at a time.

Look at resident evil 4 on Wii, or even gamecube, If you played that game, and unlocked / played The mercenaries, you will know that you can get 15+ enemy's clumped up with no FPS dropage at all, and the enemy's look good! With pretty decent resolution textures.

So all in all, Capcom was extremely lazy with this port on graphical terms.

ALL IN ALL:
Gameplay can be fun, addicting at times, fun weapons to kick the crap out of enemy's with.

I HIGHLY recommend you Rent this game, before purchasing your own copy of the game, to see if you even like it.
