When a publisher goes as far to put the word "Ultimate" in their game title they better back it up. I'm proud to say that this is one of those times that they were able to back it up. Dead or Alive: Ultimate is the latest release from the Team Ninja Division of Tecmo. This game boasts better graphics and its Fighting engine (SP) has been enhanced. All around it looks better than DOA 3 not saying that its bad or anything it just looks good. DOA has been around for almost 10 years who would have thought that the first game that came out would have been so popular and almost 10 years later it is still one of the core Fighting games ever. DOA Ultimate is actually two games in one, one version is the first one that broke all the rules and the second is it's sequel both have been updated to look more ultimate than did their blocky counterparts. The only downside I could find is that they really didn't add that many characters and they are still targeting people who like nice looking women, I like nice looking women but I prefer a good fighting game also. But I still like this game none the less. It gets a M rating because of the women in it, they do show a little skin and it does have violence in it. It gets a 9.5 out of 10 because even though it doesn't have many new characters in it, they did a effort to make a updated version of the first two games.
