All and all this game is a solid fighting game.

Dead or Alive Ultimate is a really good fighting title because of it's quick, fast paced gameplay and real authentic fighting styles. It can either be a button masher or a strategic, huge combo pulling type of game. It's fun playing against your friends, and the variety of characters just makes the experience even better. Even though these are great reasons, the game has a lack of replay value after a couple times through. What I mean is how you go through the story mode and time attack mode to get new costumes, that look... pretty much the same as the old one. Also the counter attack system, although it's nice to have, it's really hard to master. This game is worth picking up, but be prepared to shout in anger as you get pulverised by your opponent!
