At first glance looked so cool the textures were improved,in fact the girls of DOA never looked so sexy.The "history" mode,in fact is more a demo training,coolest features of it, is the movies trying to explain what's going on on this new release of DOA.in fact I found some movies funny and other interesting.
There are 23 characters,and I affirm there's only 23 because unlocking the last one,nothing really intersting,alpha 23 is boring ,hard and unlikeable.I'm complaining about getting alpha 23 because after sometime DOA turn to be boring.I don't remember to feel this way over another DOA releases to be bored as fast and just awant ot ad another game to have a little bit of variety because I get bored of it,but fighting 1000 times with all characters of a game that is laready boring to me beside other hard and unlikely challenges just say you what's this game all about.
What's most dissapointing of this game is that there's no new boss in the game,the boss is supposed to be alpha 23 again,and beside that I didn't like it in DOA 4,in the supposed arcade mode you didn't fight Alpha 23 at the end and after fighting sometime the game gets boring fast.Tengu was the coolest boss in DOA but looks like Team Ninja either lacks the talent or are too lazy to create a cool boss not even a new one?Lame.The gameplay stay the same as previous ones with the addition of a powerblow move that is kind cinematic as street fighter 4 but less spectacular.And that's it.After playing, Street Fighter 4,Mortal Kombat,Marvel vs Capcom 3,this game was released too late and can be exciting for a while but aftter that you realized that is just a recicled DOA with better graphics some movies and more of the same.Lost it's charm very fast.Another dissapointing release to be added to this 2012 at least almost ends.
