I had the Collector's Edition on the 360, but then my 360 went and died on me. So I'll for sure be getting this day 1. Hopefully the US gets some sort of pre-order bonus/CE.

Im gonna buy the Collectors Edition.
For those who asked:
-PS3 and Vita will have cross play.
-PS3 and Vita will share DLC costumes and save data.
Since they will share save data I think all costumes and chars will be unlocked in the Vita version.

Bancario51 posted...there is clearly a fan-service mode included to the Vita version. This might be the deal-breaker right there.
Care to explain your logic (or lack thereof)? If a person doesn't like the fan service mode they're free to not play it. That's like not getting FIFA because it has a practice mode.

Uh, think you might have that backwards. All the videos of sf x t (even the capcom vita promo videos have it) from before release have the character models with ugly shading, less detail (and contrasted differently so that it looked like they were pasted onto the backgrounds), as well as a thick, nasty-looking grey/black outline. Now? They look like the console models.
The first time SF X T was publicly shown it looked exactly like the console version. It just ran at a really bad framerate. That's when Capcom started with downgrading the visuals, and every time a newer build was shown, the game was looking slightly worse. First the complex shading from the console version was replaced with something much simpler and the effects were downgraded significantly, then the character shadows and the lighting had to go, and finally most of the background activity (and also the background sound effects) was removed and the resolution was lowered.
It's still a fine looking game imo, but expecting a Vita game to look and run exactly like a PS3 game is rather delusional. (especially when you consider that DOA 5 already drops resolution on the fly, has no AA and even suffers from screen-tearing)

Day 1 for me, even though I already got the 360 version. This game will certainly save vita's life.

Im sure it wont be 60 fps on the vita maybe 15 at most. It wont look as good so theyll probably use manga esque cutscenes rather than pre rendered cgi as the ps3 version

@TC- So far, cross buy is available for first party Sony games only. I expect the trend to continue.

Maybe. If there's one thing I already have in abundance for my Vita it's fighting games.

Gonna depend on the content if I get it. Already have the DOA5 on XBOX360.
