Has looks but fails on playing nice.

I have enjoyed a bit on the Dead or Alive series and the 4th game is no exception. For it's release debut in the beginning of the 360 era, the graphics and characters are interesting.

The problem I had with this game was the difficulty. I lost count on the amount I have heard "You Lose" against the AI. There is no easy option, only normal, hard, very hard. Normal was already difficult enough so I can't imagine how the are two difficulties play. I felt I was smashing buttons and trying to beat the AI as soon as possible before it went on a combo spree.

I don't know how many times this happen but when I am very close defeating the AI, it comes back and destroys me when I have half or more health left. The game leaves you frustrated but if you do finally beat it, it feels like weight is off your shoulders.

Pros: Graphics, characters, extras (videos, photos, etc.)
Cons: Difficult AI, online mode needs work

Overall it's a game worth renting but depending how good you are in fighting games, you can be easily frustrated.
