@Shut-Your-Face L4D2 was great but i think this game will not be repetitive...its got RPG elements and RPG's are rarely repetitive

most of the zombie games out now are kinda the same but this is different

Soooo stoked for this game now! Just don't rush it Techland and make sure it's polished and you could seriously have a GOTY candidate on your hands, and soon, in mine. ;)

i WAS excited but not so much now,it looks repetitive and lacking action and...spoookyness....itst still a pretty game...for w/e thats worth lol

Will this be better than Left 4 Dead 2? Because that game was boringly repetitive.

I'm well used to playing violent video games but....GOSH....just when you thought it couldn't get any gorier than Left 4 Dead 2 or Fallout 3.....

Looks like Oblivion with Zombies.....two things I have wasted many hours of my life on.... If you guys need anything from me I'll be in my basement playing this....might be down there for awhile

After not hearing anything from this game in a long time, i thought it to be dead. VERY happy to see me wrong. Also, good that it's focused on melee rather than guns, makes it more "realistical", not finding guns lined up at tables every 10 feet with a neverending pile of ammo next to it.

It looks very very good. Count me in, for the PC version. But i didn't like the status of Run-Walk close to the center of the screen. Those must be to the corner of the screen and not in front of your face when you fight.

plus i think left for dead better soz to be honest not fresh at all

WHOA! this Game looks so AWESOME! It's like Farcry 2 Mixed with Dead Rising 2! Also, zombies never get boring to slaughter... especially with cars! *Pre-order* ^^

Wow... I couldn't help but notice the Achievable progress bar on 0:58 . If these are the Xbox 360 graphics, I am very impressed. The graphics look great, the gameplay is fresh and new for a zombie apocalypse game, has a fantastic setting, looks to have a well driven narrative in terms of story, has Co-Op, uses gameplay element mixtures of Dead Rising, Far Cry, and Borderlands (All of which are goods) and the icing on the cake it is an RPG! Wow... just wow. You never see effort put into something like this now a days, unlike CoD where it's just "hay I can haz a kewl Gunz". I see real promise in this game. It looks great, sounds great and will be great. Too bad it's pretty low under the radar right now, but here's hoping it lives past it's birth and becomes a sequal based anthology like Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and hell, even L4D and Dead Rising for that matter. :P

There is only one thing i am disliking about this game and thats the annoying stamina bar right in the centre of the screen. Could they have not incorporated that somewhere else? kinda takes away some immersion in my opinion. Otherwise this game looks amazing and should be worth the wait!

@jonaadams I couldn't have said it better. I to dislike the RPG displays on screen. Some of the footage you don't see it. So I hope there is an option to turn it on or off. such an easy option that will help satisfy both players that like and dislike the displays.

@heilrawk That was the first thing that came into my mind too. Looks too arcadey and is really distracting. Sounds petty, but if they make it into the finished game I won't be buying it.

big fan of the left4dead series. This game looks like a fun new twist on the zombie survival genre. Thank god for co-op which is an absolute must when killing zombies!!

I play left for dead one and two alot .......this looks GREAT, be a great change . Yes killig zombies again......but this looks brilliant story...and diffrent way of atttacking and game play . llooking foward to it .

I haven't been playing a good zombie game for a while . Might want to check this one out.

Wow. Besides Resident Evil 4 (which wasn't even really zombies), this is the first zombie game that I REALLY want to play. Think it's the co-op that's winning me over.

@Lazerith91 Agreed, tired of people looking at this game and the minute they see a zombie, "ITS A LEFT 4 DEAD RIP OFF!". I guess Half Life is a rip off of Battlefield because you have weapons...............Dead Island is an open world with mutant zombies, they include various new elements to this franchise whether it be driving vehicles, or the damage over time effect on zombies along with what seems to be an interesting story line, 30+ hours with 4 player co-op..thats got me interested.

yeah a game thats NOT left 4 dead and looks to be better only down side so far is no local multiplayer.

To all the people saying this looks like other games. I got news for you. Aside from a few special little gimmicks in each game to set them apart, most games are a lot like others. So stop jumping on bandwagons and start saying things just because other people are because seriously? If your gonna complain because this looks like L4D or farcry just because they share some themes then you'll have to complain about every freaking game out there from now on. I for one think this game looks interesting and I'll keep checking it out.
