To start, the game makes an early point to show that it focuses mainly on melee combat, by starting you with only a limited amount of weapon types, guns generally are not found until later in the game. The controls can get a little tricky to manipulate but after an hour or so they grow on you. The several kinds of zombies in the game make for a nice surprise and occasionally will scare the heck out of you.
The game has amazing graphics and the tropical island vacation get away makes for a interesting setting for a zombie melee game. The sounds can really add a creepiness effect, but can often give bosses away. Multiplayer with random people you don't know can add to the effect of being in a real survival scenario, and is ideally the best Multiplayer option. The game however does allow you to invite people to your party and make your "lobby" or your particular game private so that no randomers can join in, and trust me this option is also just as fun.
Overall I gave the game an 8.5, because it is likely going to be the best zombie game to release this year, and for any zombie fan this game should keep you quite busy, especially with all of the collectables and insanely big world for you to explore.
