What can I say, The game is good overall. If you like first person games with RPG elements. The only real bother to me was the lack of a good story and characters. With atleast good characters and character developement the game couldve gotten a much better feel overall. A game about desperate times and so on with characters that barely even notice the zombie apocalypse around them simply feels stupid and wrong. If you want to bash zombies dead and you are able to play a game without caring about the story then this game is worth checking out. Its a shame that a game with alot of potential was left unpolished by rush and greed. This seems to be a common thing in games nowadays, but it cant be helped.
The game gave me few good scares but overall I didnt get much emotion of any kind out of it. The melee weapons are nice, inventive and fun to use. Guns on the other hand are rather lame and feel overall unnecessary. If they wouldve added weapon customization with different scopes and such it wouldve been more fun. The key to make such games good is customization and feeling of immersion. Its the small details that make a game great and this one doesnt have too many of those.
