Its the same as the first game with a new character, new locations, more mods/weapons and a few beneficial tweaks. If your interested watch reviews of the first one. The GameSpot review was not an accurate reflection of this game, it almost seem like the reviewer didn't play much of the game. I personally liked it more than the first one because its more open, the new character is ridiculously fun to play as and the sewers and prison in the first one were very tedious.

Oh yea it's only $40 on steam, for me it was a no brainer, wouldn't be the first time I enjoyed a game GS hated or hated a game they loved.

@gamingfrendly Actually GS fired a guy for giving Kane and Lynch a bad review when it was advertised all over the site. I don't really mind GS reviews, but if you want a better understanding of a game before you buy it, it's best to look at a lot of reviews and watch some gameplay footage. If it has a really good preorder bonus then you might want to bite the bullet and reserve it (I only did that with Borderlands 2 and Halo 4 because they were sequels and looked entertaining)

I'm confused! GS gave the game a terribly low review score and claimed it wasn't worth even playing yet spends resources on how to make it fun.? Really. Why review games just to trash them then use them as tools to create these types of features? It makes no sense to me.
