Check out an almost 10 minute walkthrough of the content in Dead Island Riptide.
First game was really neat. First FPS game to ever really make the melee combat FUN.... not the usual Hit-Backup-Hit-Backup like melee combat has been in FPSs since the beginning of time.
Dead Island was glitchy; but every open-world-game that covers a lot of area is glitchy. See: Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Oblivion, Skyrim, Dead Island, etc. It's the price one must pay for this type of game. If smoothing them out was easy pre-release and pre-having millions of people work out the kinks early on then they would have done this long ago...
@CaptWaffle hmm... not Hit-Backup-Hit-Backup combat? Check out 8:00
The first game caught me of-guard and my hard earned money went down the drain. But not this time I'm not buying this garbage again. Thank god.
I had so much fun with Dead Island and whereas this looks almost same like the first game, definately going to jump in again into the zombie apocalypse!
this bullshyt coulda been DLC
and the walking dead game is gonna suk
resident evil is horrible, guess no zombie game for me this year
Looks like guns are a lot more powerful than they were in the first one. Shooting was the least fun part of the original, so that's good to see.
I put a lot of hours into Dead Island. Though it had some technical flaws, it was a lot of fun for me. I'm looking forward to this one.
