Everything about this game has improved it should be re-reviewed because its under rated

Well Considering it is now free to play, I downloaded it from Steam and it is really fun. The best part is the character customization because you can live out the hero or villain you want. Gets a little lonely some times from the majority of players sticking to their own thing. So I'm sure it's way better playing with friends

What I hate the most is that I installed this crap, hated it and now will have it on the Trophy List with 0 trophies forever to remember me to wait for Gamespot reviews before wasting my time with crappy games.

I think the best F2P game to play is TF2 because a paid account and free account has almost no diffrence

There's a good and a bad side to having the free gaming... Good side no more paying xD & you'll be able to get DLC's or other stuff trough PSS even if your not a member. Bad side is that you'll only be able to use/create 2 characters (that's a bad because I have 4 characters), smaller inventory space, etc. Kind of like runescape

It's worth the wait if you like DC lol but yeah its good as game in my opinion

I got this yesterday and I'm still waiting for it to install. 10 hours and 55% complete right now. I hope it's worth the wait.

I'm glad they made it free to play, because that was really the only thing holding me back from playing it. I would have no problem paying 60 bucks to buy the game, it was the monthly fee that put me off. If they had made the online part free from the get-go ,more people would have brought it and they wouldn't have had to worry about needing extra money to pay for the servers.

So glad this is going free to play

love DC and love this game but i could go for a Marvel Universe Online rather than DC

Don't worry, you'll get it someday... oh...and try to play some REAL RPGs like Elder Scrolls, KOTOR (the first one) if you like Star Wars, Baldur's Gate, Mass Effect (just the first one) if you're more into futuristic, to put some examples to start with...

I just don't get were people find joy playing RPGs. I tried out Dungeon Hunter: Alliance and Dragon Age Origins. If I hadn't already lied down in the couch, I would've fallen over from boredom.

@Freakgrenade True, but they rarely change their core gameplay mechanics (if ever) or change old content. I doubt whether quests would ever be redone in this game, or features will be redone.

Wow if u look at it all games are repeating the same thing just different quest but the open pvp is whats got me able to just go and mess up a super her (hehe) or beat up some bad guys (booo) really how many games do u have countless of thousands of hours just doing the same 5 small maps like CoD ::cough crapy game cough:: i think this game will fill my need to beat up stuff run away when need and beat some more stuff up... oh and what they didnt tell u in the review that they will have expantions go figure they dont tell u that huh

Well said Freakgrenade. And ditto on loving many lower scored titles. A decent mmo for the ps3 is a good investment imho.

oof kinda harsh review, but ow well i have loved games that were rated 7.5 before.For all those lookign forward to this game , take his words with a grain of salt.MMo's are fond of adding much, much more content over time.So take a look at their website and see what they have in store before totally dismissing the game.

It's looks awesome but I have to pay so I'll stick with City of Heroes

@greyreaper 1-You have to be connected to PSN to start the game so no, you cannot play offline, without the internet. 2-You can still play by yourself online. In fact until level 30, the game is pretty doable solo if you want, but many things are made to be playing in groups like wanted bosses and alerts. But story missions are easy to do by yourself.

this is an mmorpg of course you cannot play offline! and @ forest it is ann mmorpg!! ultimate alliance is not

Hey i know its suppose to be online. "obviously i know it in title" but i was wondering. 1. Can you play it without being connected to PSN. 2. If you can is it any fun to play by yourself. 3. If you can't tell by now i don't have my playstation hocked up to the internet so im wondering if this game is still worth the buy.

Why would you get this and only play for a month when you could get Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 and play that forever?

Ok if you gotta go to school or work and can only play a game for a few hours a day. This is one of my best games right now. I would rather play this then mass effect. I would play mass effect if I didnt have a girl and was single and lonely. My girl would be mad if my caracter came on to a video woman in mass effect 2 lol. Plus u cant go online on mass effect so I would rather play DC universe, DC one of my favorite games right now...one more thing, this dude gay lol. I give DC a 8.9

The aesthetics on this game are really off putting. Clunky character models and big glowing rings - eurgh!

Sony needs to come up with a pay $20 a month and you can play all there online games.

The expansion should be set in Apokolips.
