It's fun and challenging even though there are a few glitches.

Finally a game for the furry little sidekick. We get to find out how Daxter saves Jak and has adventures of his own. There are mini games to complete, precursor orbs to collect and quite a few unlockables. The learning curve of this game is nice and short; easy to handle. Graphically this game is beautifully done. The challenges are hard enough for those of us that enjoy them, but can probably be a bit too hard for a few so be prepared to spend a few minutes trying to jump or slide to a new area.
The mini games are a nice break with a purpose, you get to learn new moves and can increase your health. You can also get a little something extra if you've completed Jak X 100% and link your PSP to your PS2. The story line doesn't get lost in the game play as well. Having the on-board map is a plus as it is in the Jak and Daxter games, so you never wonder where you're heading next. There are a few areas of the game however where you need to be careful when exterminating metal bugs as you can fall off when Daxter flows into his combo moves, I've found this is also something to watch out for when jumping from one area to the next. I've ran into some places while using a hovercraft and even an elevator and have somehow died by hitting a seam in the game but that problem seems to be rare. The camera angles aren't the best they could've been but they aren't terrible enough to make you scream. Having the ability to save anywhere is always a plus and is handy for every reason. If you haven't tried this game or any Jak and Daxter game I suggest you give this one a shot. If you've played the other games from this series it is a very nice addition.
