Speaking of your squad... How do you control them? EASY! Just point at where you want them to go and hit L1. They are smart enough to go to the nearest cover from where you ordered them. You can also order them to follow you with a touch of the DOWN button on the D-pad. Up on the D-pad will tell them to quickly take cover. By holding L1 while pointing at an enemy position you can tell them to suppress the enemy. By pressing L1 and R1 while pointing at an enemy position you will get your squad mates to charge. It may not sound like a great system but I liked it more than GRAW 2's system. Above enemy position's (once you have spotted them) is a red circle. While it's red the enemy will pop up and start shooting, but by ordering your men to suppress it or by suppressing it yourself, the circle will start to turn grey. Once grey the enemy is suppressed and it will be much safer to leave cover and flank. This game is all about flanking. Get into position where you have cover but the Nazi's don't. Having a squad really helps you distract them while you sneak up. By pressing SELECT you will get a bird's eye view of the battle. This will help you find enemy positions and the best route to flank them. If you consider this to be unrealistic (well it is) then you can just not use it, you only have to use it once during the tutorial. Those are most of the special features this game has over other war or tactical games. The graphics, for its time especially are amazing, not PS3, or XBOX360 amazing but still very good. I find that graphics doesn't even matter that much in a game like this. The gameplay is so amazing I wouldn't care if it looked like it was a Nintendo 64 or PS1 game. I was too enthralled with the story and gameplay to notice the sound much. All I heard was gunshots, screams and the occasional bomb in the distance. If you can find this game it will be quite cheap. I would probably still pay $65 for it, but shhhhh dont tell the store owners. All in all this is my second favorite game and my favorite war game ever. I cannot wait to play Hell's Highway, coming Q4. If you like war games then this is THE game to pick up.
