One of the best 2D Fighters

User Rating: 9 | Vampire Chronicle: The Chaos Tower PSP
Story-----Each character has a specific storyline surrounding them, when the player finishes each character in arcade mode, a intro and ending will be unlocked from all versions depending on game type you play.

Characters---There are about 18 different characters, and 3 copy cat characters, each character has a set of strengths and weaknesses and a amazing moveset. Each character has a specific intro/ending as well.

Gameplay---There are two modes playable, Arcade mode which lets you choose to play in either of the 4 original game modes, DS1, DS2, DS3 or DS3 SP, depending on which you play, you will unlock a different intro/movie depending on the character. There is also a tower mode where the player will choose up to three combatants, where they must face several characters in a pathway towards up, thus doing so unlocks certain artwork in the gallery section, but the gamer is pitted against certain limitations.

Sound/Music--The music is usually upbeat and technoish, nothing special, sound effects are nicely done for a 2D game, the voices are all in japanese though just like other 2D capcom fighters.

Replay--The game has high replay value considering its a fighting game, but also unlocking every single artwork and intro/endings will take some time, and will be worth it especially if you plan to go on the road or even play against a friend.

Overall, a very well made game, one of the great launch titles released on PSP, the game now is rare, a rare classic indeed which rivals even the great Street Fighter series.
