Here's a trailer for the limited-edition version of Darkspore.
The Beta Sucks. There are no key customisation options (it's really uncomfortable) , the match making is awful, my lvl 17 hero had to fight a 32, 34 lvl. The game crashes sometimes and u gotta log out. The campaign is repetitive and the pvp is really boring... has no mods only 1v1 2v2. The game is retarded!
This game's beta is very buggy. Ton of bug report on the forum and no tech support from Maxis at all. Really hope they fix it on launch or else the game is doomed to fail.
i liked the 1st spore more but after the creature stage it gets kinda boring. i hope they will make a spore 2 and put the wather stage in that everyone wanted
Whoa...This looks great. I personally loved Spore and and this game seems really good! I also like games like Titan Quest, and this looks a lot like it!
Looks cluncky and unoriginal. Its hard to get excited about this after the dissapointing terrible POS Spore was.
You know, buying a limited/collector's/expendable income edition is neat. For an extra ten bucks, you can have your character look a little different, maybe you get a gun that, while balanced to be in line with other guns, provides a slightly a slightly different feel than the "baseline" experience, or hey, maybe you just get a silly hat that's fun to wear. But. I know this is a game that likely won't be that successful, I know this probably isn't the first time a special edition has boasted a benefit in terms of an actual, measurable advantage, but every time I see this, it makes my skin crawl a little. Publishers and developers telling consumers if they spend more money than everyone else they'll have a leg up on everyone else is an unsettling and borderline unethical business tactic.
i agree with both Ardova and Scradin another character is cool but bonus armour is just hax as it was said it takes the skill out
Hm.... I was very disappointed with spore, this one may be better, at least the complicated engine is going to be used for something different.
Scradin is right, my tought exactly, whats the point in making the game easier? I want the freakin challenge of it, buy parts because you like how the parts look or something, not because it gives better fighting stats :D
Limited Edition my ass. This just ruins the game, making it less fun and making it so you don't need skill, and you just press buttons
