Darksiders is a very impressive action adventure game with RPG elements.Graphics are top notch, environments look very good, good music, good sounds, great variety of weapons, powers, enemies. The overall presentation of this game is awesome. The cutscenes are very good, the story is interesting and original-you are War,one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse, you ride on a horse of fire, you fight hordes of demons of all kind and size, you fight angels as well. You are sent by the Council to restore balance on the Earth after the destruction of mankind-the third kingdom.I don't agree that the story is weak,i find it very interesting and original. This game has a lot in common with well-known titles like Prototype,God of War,Prince of Persia and even Portal-because you have a lot of puzzles and you can create portals as well .Along with your normal form you have the chaos form which transforms you into a very powerful red demon with a sword of fire that makes massive damage.Of course chaos form lasts only a few seconds and to activate it again you need to kill more enemies or at least to hit them. The only reason i didnt rate this game 10 is because of the Tower levels with too many puzzles at one point becoming a little frustrating but after you pass that levels the game becomes awesome again. However if you like puzzles you may find that part very interesting and challenging.Overall this is one of the best looking games of 2010 -graphics,weapons,sounds,story,gameplay-all together-so you must play this impressive game with a lot of boss fights as well, long campaign and epic ending.
