One of not many games that played second time made me like it even more. Even with outdated visuals this game is great!

I first played Darsiders at launch date and I liked it. I didn't LOVED this game, just though it was ok. After I lost my PSN account in 2011 I'm missing Darksiders trophies so I though I'll give it another go. I was surprised how fast this games story will suck me in.

Game is rather typical hack n slash, God-of-War-like game, so nothing special about character progression or gameplay mechanics. However main characters story is, in my opinion, easier to relate to that Kratoses for example. It's about how the game tells the story and of course what the story actually is. When in GoW3 visuals, sound effect and all technical aspect of the game keeps you going, here your main motivation is story, missions.

Like I said graphics is not that good. However environments, some expositions, and main character model makes up for it. As a gamer who above all loves graphics in this game it didn't matter that much cause gameplay and main story was much more important.

There are some problems with controls. Nothing major. But it can be frustrating especially on higher difficulty level. But in general it's ok once you get used to those defects.

I really enjoyed boss fights. In general THQ made very good job keeping player interested in the game. I played many games but very, very few of them I played twice. I will recommend this game to anyone who like good hack n slash games with good story. Year 2010 was very fruitful. In that year 3 the best hack n slash games ever made was released: Castlevania: Lords Of Shadows, God of War 3 and Darksiders. Those three game each one in different matter are reason why consoles will never die.
