Basic mechanics could have been better. Glad I played Prince of Persia/Tomb Raider/WOW or I would have been lost. In the beginning basic mechanics like rolling the ball were difficult and didn't work too good. I would not consider game play seamless, since loading between areas/sequences took time with a frame freeze until it completed.
The talent tree is hard to understand, with available moves and talents not easily described. This talent tree reminds me of WOW, which makes me happy I played that too, otherwise it would be somewhat impossible to comprehend. Key assignments are limited. I think a keyboard application would have been better than a controller.
Character interaction, reminds me of Mass Affect, story line seems to be good, puzzles are challenging as in POP/Tombraider. I can't help but feel this game actually incorporates too much of other games Its value is it carries on from the previous game, which I loved and played at least 10 times on all difficulties. Overall I enjoyed the game and will play it a few more times. If there is a 3rd and 4th is in the works, I think a little more of the first game mechanics should be Incorporated instead of trying to reinvent the wheel, base it on the tried and true

Although it seems to be a better game than the previous, you might notice some problems instead of improvements.
