An amazing game with brilliant game play. A mixture of all your favourite adventure games combined.

User Rating: 8.5 | Darksiders II PS3
Darksiders II follows on from the original Darksiders whom you controlled the first of the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse, War. As of now, you play as the most feared of the legendary four, Death. Death ventures forth through a action-packed adventure solving puzzles, battling force of heaven and more importantly seeking out his brother, War.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game as it was enjoyable, addictive and it had amazing game content. My favourite content in the game is definitely the combat and exploration. The combat is brilliantly developed into the game due to ways such as levelling up to gain new talents in either Harbinger or Necromancer, gaining new abilities to use for your advantage by consuming your Wrath, gearing Death with different statistics and attributes to effect the outcome of battles.

But what makes the game even better is the huge undiscovered world that you can explore as you progress through the storyline. Discover new dungeons holding many collectibles and goodies, solve challenging puzzles scattered throughout the story and completing new quests to gain experience and gilt. All these subjects made one extraordinary game.

However there was a few flaws I found with the game that i wasn't so happy with. A good example is the graphics in this game, they are some what amateurish for a PS3/Xbox 360 game. Although some graphics throughout the game are good for instance; Death himself along with his horse and the landscapes throughout the worlds, however the many NPC's in the game look so unappealing such as the Makers, the Constructs, even the Bosses should have more detailed graphics.

Another tweak they could of done is to make the dungeons a lot less repetitive, or at least made the puzzles completely different in each dungeon. Every dungeon had the similar puzzle solutions which just made it fairly tedious, also the fact that the story was basically Dungeons for every next objective you had to do.

A lot of games take each others ideas such as every other MMORPG steals each others ideas however every game is different in story, gameplay etc. and this is NOT Zelda, it is NOT God of War and it is NOT Prince of Persia. This is Darksiders.

Overall, I'm giving it 8.5 because I thought it is a well developed game and I am looking forward to a Darksiders III. And by the way, a freaking amazing soundtrack of amazing songs! :D
