I just beat Argul at level 17 and as I killed him, his ice move killed me and now it's not registering that I killed him for the secondary quest or giving his weapon and he's not there to respawn.
I really hate this kind of glitch.

you can redo that quest on NG+. otherwise you would need to start over. sorry to hear that.

I was aiming for the two silver trophies, one to kill all 4 of the bosses and the side quests one.

i understand, at the very least you can NG+ without restarting form scratch. i had some bad issues with the game as well (lost several save files BEFORE they patched in the Lock removal.
