Almost no instances(only dungeons have them of wat i know of)
Extremely detailed and fantastic design of the world,you will never get bored of exploring(this is imo)
Fun going on raids with friends and whipping some alfar ass :D.
The game is stable fps with large number of players on screen.
99% stable client.
Can have your own city/hamlet!. Edit: Now village and house!
For once in a game there are vehicles! and yes even boats!.
Pretty awesome mounts.
Some pretty wicked lighting(wen its bout to go night, you can see ur shadow stretch wayyy back, its fantasticly done).
Game is the funnest mmo i have played, well ever!.
Some alright looking graphics, they arnt amazing, but they are good enough to make you go wow once every so often.(like at a sun said over the ocean)
Use day and night at ur advantage, in night it gets really dark and enemy's cant see you.
Wanna be a mage? No worrys just pick up a staff buy or use the starter spells and cast away to level up that skill. Edit: Now you have to hit enemys to level up ur skills and spells.
No levels(not including spells and skills) and grinding.Edit: LIES there is lots of grinding, but you get to choose to do it, or go out and fight to level them up!.
There are plenty of spells
I personaly like that some mobs have loads of health and u must have like 5 people to take one down.
Killing afk macroers hahahahah.
Cons:
Minor but not major bugs.
80% bad player community, some players can say nasty comments.
Server crashs and is down alot.
Game gets boring after a week of doing it solo, i suggest every one gets in a clan if they dont want their fun to end(i think i am rong, maybe soloing is fun, on my first week wen i went solo i didnt really explore that much....... maybe thats wat solo is meant for in this game, exploring new areas idk).
The alignment system could be better.Edit: Update improved it alot.
People abuse the alignment system(like me :P).Edit: Not that much abusment any more since patch.
Weapons break too easy. Edit: Patch changed this, they take much longer to break, and crafted weapons last very long.
Getting resources is not a walk in the park. You need to think about where your gonna gather, some one can sneak up on you any moment, so cant go afk.
People can get really annoying in the game, by knocking you back from the loot of a monster that died, or just repeating it .
When you ride in a city with your mount, every one attacks it for no reason, also happens in alot of other places.
Mounts dont have that much heath, and can easily be taken down my 2 people archering.
No zoomable map.Edit: Patch added a zoomable map.
Starter areas always getting raided.
Its addicting(not sure if thats bad though :D)
Lag in Australia is horrible, i always have around 350ish : (
Ok now i am sure i missed out on some things good and bad, but thats long enough, let me start from when i first started the game
Well when i finally got into the world(i was a human in monkfield), i didnt know much what to do, there was a window telling me some basic stuff, but i noticed, as soon as your in the game, your on your own, nothing to guide you expect a minimap that dosnt show where there are quests(good imo), and a unzoomable map, after a while i found a few quests, did them, got some decent armor, so yeh the first the of the game, was easy and difficult in spots, but most of all i had lots of fun, one thing annoying i noticed that there are raids every hour or so in one of the human starter areas that can be quite annoying.
so once your out and exploring, you will always find a town some where, there are many npc citys, that have bindstones, and have quests, and you will always find something different, but watch out, basicly no matter where you go, you take a big chance, mostly if your in hostile land, but if ur think ur safe traveling in friendly land, think rong, your racial alliance races will still kill you willing to the the allignment hit for it, so you always need to be carefull
Some times this game can make your heart beat 1000 miles per second! just like yesterday, i was helping awful company(a awesome guild, but i am not in it) take over a hamlet, and i noticed this message pop up on my screen, i just ignored it, then i noticed people coming over the hill, i started firing mana missiles at them, when i got close i ran back since i was alone in that area, i ran back to the hamlet clanstone, then noticed, there were no ac people there, and i noticed they were far back,
and then i realized that message popping up on my screen was saying ac failed to capture the city, and it was over, so before i know it my heart was pumping like crazy, i was outnumbered, i got out my mount, and tryied to run, 2 guys ran after me firing arrows, i could hardly play, my hands were shaking some much, i could not keep my fingers on the W key, but then my mount went down, i still tried to run, but they got on their mounts and killed me, even though i died, it was worth it, cause i had loads of fun :D
its moments like those that i love, they just keep to to the edge of your seat, but wat most is fun on this game, is going on raids with your clan mates, and going on vent, my clan has raids once a day so we can get money to siege a hamlet(we are in alliance with ac, so with them helping us, it will be easy as pie :D), so yeh its so much fun doing stuff like that, also pvp raiding, we are always going to the alfar lands, and killing some guys,
i have heard some bad stuff about the sound, i have heard it, its not bad at all, only small problem i can tell is that you sometimes 20% of the time cant tell how far the sounds are away from you, but the sound effects, well they arnt amazing, they are just average, what you would expect a mmo to sound like, but the music in the game is, hmmm, well it is good, really good choice of music for some parts of the land, but it aint something to brag about.
this is just my experience from 1 week now, and so far its been a wonderful experience of the game, i hope to play more, well i am tired now i would write more, but i gotta go to bed, cya
