Almost Good...

Well, when i first saw the game's premise, i thought it could be a good game! I mean, the whole time travelling sounded very appealing, it almost reminded me of C&C when they tried to chance the past and it later blew them on the face.

Now, the game starts, i don't know, a little so out of context i thought i had forgot to install something like the opening videos! Yes the game has a small playable intro instead of your usual full motion video intro. Still, it did let me intrigued over the future missions!

And at first, they are actually nice starting missions. What disappointed me was really the fact that besides the end mission, most of the game runs around two times, the American Civil War and World War I. It was a bit of fresh air when the World War II mission came up, but that's all it was, just a bit of fresh air as it ended almost as soon as it started!

As for the game itself, well i found it a little too easy! And the AI needs a lot of work! You don't get surprised by your enemies at all! You see them once attacking and it's basically the same every time they appear! Same goes for your own side!

And speaking of sides. Another big flaw in my opinion is the fact that you can't accidentally kill anyone on your side. And i'm bringing this for realistic purposes. It's a war for god's sake! People running around everywhere! Oh the times i lost a shot because at the last minute i was pulling the trigger a friendly crosses my cross-air and i simply can't take the shot and consequently get myself shot!

As for the ending, well, that was almost the most disappointing thing in the game! It actually ends when you think it's going to really get interesting, when you think the story is finally going to make some sense! It's just a terrible thing to do!!

So, bottom line, they could have done alot better! It's another one of those games with flashy graphics but shallow content/storyline.
