"Surprisingly Good" because it's better than the scores it's been getting.

User Rating: 7.5 | Darkest of Days PC
Darkest of Days is a fun game, it runs smoothly, it didn't crash at all, not once, no stuttering, (I am running it on a Quad core Extreme QX9770 @ 3.8GHz, 2x nVidia GTX 280's, 1920x1080 24" display), may not have the most ultimate graphics but they're still good, and I LOVE graphics, but long as they're pretty good and the rest of the game is too, you can live with it right? They've also released Developer Tools for those who are into that sort of thing. The game is a refreshing change to most of what's been released lately, it's nice to be up to something different in a FPS, and although the concept is quite different, it's not difficult to grasp. To briefly put it and not give up too much of the plot you travel in time and try to alter the events by who lives/dies. You will be in the Civil War and then the other extreme being able to use futuristic weaponry (it's hard to explain without giving up too much of the plot for people who like to find out on their own). 5 different time periods 79A.D., 1862, 1914, 1941, 1876 plus a main future setting.

It's even had a price drop.
