I`m a ps3 owner (no hate to 360, just the sony track have give me whai I play so far... 2 game I do want from the 360 though :oops: ) and I don`t feel they are "taking away" something from me, that would be true if they make it a 360 exlusive... Honestly most game should be realease for as many console possible as long as they do not damage the quality of the game. Also, you do know that this is NOT demon souls 2.. right? it has nothing to do with the game, no characters, world, story... is just the same basic gameplay concept, or at least that is what the producer want to create again... looking forward ofr it... loved DS, if this anything like it + open world = LOVE

@Demonicstriker: Atlus didn't make Demon's Souls, they published it in NA. From Software did the game, so, its the same developer, different publisher.

not made by atlus this time around will probably be a flop.

Can't wait will pick this up for my 360

This one is going to be open world.. There was something positively traditional and pure about the first being a somewhat linear and predictable "level"-style world so i wonder how different this will feel.

its named Dark Souls and i hope its awesome. im glad 360 gamers can enjoy this game, the first one was so great.. i swear i cant play a swords game without remembering demons souls and its perfect combat system

Demon's Souls 2? Loved the first one so YEAH! :D

They need only to copy paste DS and it will be the best game of 2011 imo. Oh, they also need to make it harder, invasions should happen to people at any moment whether in body form or not.

There's never any new info on this game. I need a sequel. I've played Demon's Souls so much, PvP is great, I just sit there and wait to get invaded, but I've been doing it since the game came out. Beat it like a million times, started new characters over and over. I still play but I'm over it. At least the land of giants as DLC on the meantime.

??? xbox360 release... come on demon's souls was a game ps3 players who actually tried it were proud of! you can't take this exclusive away from us!

looking forward to its release and hopping that this time it would be easier to play with who you want instead of just hopping to get summoned by a complete stranger.

I am gonna buy this no matter the cost! I hope they put in real co-op this time and publish it in EU from the start so we don't have to get it all the way from overseas.

Sweet - just don't fix what ain't broken. Keep the formula, just give us a new story and maybe some cooler spell effects.

Lol, I think the trailer sucks when compared to the likes of dragon age, but I know better........ I think that project dark will focus on gameplay and multiplayer rather then selling out with DLC and over-commercializing

So should I get it on the xbox or ps3 ????? I have a feeling the multiplayer aspect will be better on xbox .....

my hearts breaking... i cannot wait for this i just hope they have a more integrated system for world tendency with that affecting the equal of what the nexus was

I dont know, Demon's Souls is a hard game to follow up... I still play it. If this game works, though, it'll be awesome!

Good stuff, the enemies look epic. If this is, in some way, a sequel to Demon's Souls, I hope it's given a smarter title other than just "Demon's Souls 2". And this game shouldn't be easier than the first. In fact, I hope it's more difficult.

This looks spectacular! Granted, I love From Software so I may be a little biased, but that doesn't change the fact that it looks spectacular. :P

Its for 360 and PS3. Now if it would only come out for the PC so I can play it at 60fps and native 1080p on my flatscreen.

I like what I'm seeing.

Demon's Souls I felt had a satisfying ending (depending on what you do), so I'll be fine if this is a Spiritual Successor rather than a direct sequel.

That said, I am really glad that they are taking a similar musical approach, I loved the music in Demon's Souls, even if there wasn't that much of it.

If it is related to Demon's Souls, perhaps this would be in the Northern (Giants) Lands. I loved the backhistory of Demon's Souls, but aside from the opening Monumental cutscene, there is never any information given about the Giants.

I hope they make another crazy boss like tower knight. The one's that make you sh*t brick when you see it the first time. That was awesome ^_^

this better be a sequel to demon's souls, because that game is way to good to go without a sequel.

OMG. I am so excited about this!!! Demon's Souls is my favourite game!!

id like to see DS 2 with Move controls as an option. i really have a fun time playing gladiator on sports champions.

Just seeing a couple of tidbits of what was actual gameplay footage, it looks way too similar to DS to not be related in some way. Definitely will be keeping an eye on this title.

Man I hope they're screwing with us and this is actually DS2. My trophy collection needs another 100+ hour Plat. :)

I wonder why Demon's Souls never got any DLC!!?? I mean there is one archstone in the nexus that seems to have been destroyed, land of the giants I believe... DLC that opens up that Archstone for more quests, exploration, stones, armor, weapons, etc.. would be beyond awesome, Agreed!?

The way I understand things,? Sony owns the name for Demon's Souls, and doesn't want From making a DS2 that's not way easier than the first, so FromSoftware is making "NOT"Demon's Souls 2.

Searched Demon's Souls and this came up in the list, thought it was weird at first because Project Dark sounds like a Sci Fi FPS game. This might be related to Demon's Souls of some sort, anyway looks cool shall see where it goes.

I hope this isn't a PS3 exclusive. Demon's Soul is an excellent game, but I can't dwelve too deep into the game because I lackz a PS3. Gotta play it on a friend's system, when it's OK for them, not me. Am I to be denied this great game simply because you want that warm fuzzy of an exclusive? I wouldn't mind it if there were more games like this out there, but sadly, their is not. The only exclusive their needs to be is Nintendo. Mario, Link, Samus, Star Fox, etc., should not be anywhere but on Nintendo. No one could do a better job.

well, graphically, it's too early to judge it but if it's somehow related to demon's souls, it would be great bcause i really loved demon soul.
