So because its going to be for the xbox the game quality will be decreased? The guy even said they have the EXACT same team from the Demon's Souls = Dark Souls will still be amazing whether multiplatform or not. But its not like the Xbox hasnt shared with us (mass effect, castle crashers). We owe them an RPG they'll never forget. Am I right?
"Spicy but edible and it tastes good" Love it
EAT ALL DEMONS SOULS!!!!!!!!!!!1111111111111111
man i love me some demon's souls.
I don't mind if it will be more difficult, as long as it doesn't mean that we still have to farm for hours just to get a couple of stones.
From Software are true gamers with crazy skills. They made my top two favorite games of all time and a true gem in 3D Dot Game Heroes. 1.Chromehounds 2. Demons Souls
"Vast exploreable environment".... aka OPEN WORLD DEMON'S SOULS?!?!? This just might be more exciting than skyrim.
Now I have to worry about getting blindsided by armoured boars.. AND I FREAKING LOVE IT.
Yep, please make this only for XBOX360. Because Mass Effect 2 ps3 version, is pure garbage, bug, bug and bug. But the XBOX360 version(original) is awesome. And i have ps3(for exclusives) and xbox360, same graphics, but in my Xbox360, i play my games from my HD, and save my disc reader. So... stfu fanboys.
jfontalba, I couldnt have said it better myself. When he said it was coming out for the xbox...my heart sank.
come on really.... NOBODY is worried that this is being released for xbox360 also? you should all know what does that mean, that the game is gonna be lowered to be on par with the 360, as much as i totally love demon's soul, i can already tell this game is NOT gonna be as good as it's predecesor, graphics are gonna be toned down as it happens with EVERY multiplataform game on the ps3, and dificulty and game system is gonna be affected too, it's gonna be easier and more simplistic. I really really want this game to be great and a worthy sequel of Demon's Soul but i'm afraid this is not gonna be the case, only time will tell.
@linkedtoyourass really good games doesnt need to rely on a good story, and i'm pretty sure this will have an interesting back-story without forcing it upon u
most anticipated game of 2011 for me, by a long shot.
spicy, yet edible.
i'm in trouble-- please recommend this message!
UHHH..uhhh...because...uhhhh...the uhhhh....UHHH UHHH UH!!! UUHHHHHH!!! AND I UUUUUUUH!!!!!!! Shut the helll UP!!!!
Im playing demon's souls right now Its hard at first but the more you play it the better it gets. Dark Souls should be excellent.
I was excited for this game just based off the facts that i had heard how great and difficult it was. An amazing action RPG with very customizable character and gameplay. THEN i played demon's souls, finally after waiting forever i borrowed my brother's PS3, and sweet Jesus this game...this game is amazing. Looking forward to this one big time.
Beating this game should unlock an easy difficulty
Beware of the next enemy's cuteness.
Wonder of the Old Monk's Headwrapping will make a return. :)
@BombayNugz Um...PS got Mass Effect. I agree though, put everything on every platform for all to enjoy.
Damn i want this, but chances are I'll be playing Skyrim instead :(
@casper008 You must have been one of those gamers who like to keep the difficulty in games as easy as possible. That's why you hate an amazing game, cause it actually gave you a challenge.
I bought demon souls to which i HATE! I won't sell it or trade it but, i keep it as a reminder never to buy a game like this again. Or maybe just not to buy games from this company. What a waste of money!
dude... bs why does the 360 get this? i say ps3 gets GOW3 and than well see about them gettin dark souls...
open world demon's souls? sweet!
You guys are finally getting this for xbox. Enjoy it :)
its amazing i'm waiting 4you8)
sweet multi-platfrom
Nice! Demon's Souls was a great RPG, can't wait for the next one, keep up making good RPG games on the console!
I loved Demon's souls, but one of my main peeves about it was the amount of exploration that you could do, which was limited. When I finally got to 5-2, I thought that Demon's Souls was going to open up into a mind-blowingly large setting. Unfortunately, by 5-3, this didn't happen. I'm really glad that they addressed this issue, because it will really enhance the immersion of the game. Also, when it comes to difficulty, I completely agree with their viewpoint. The game shouldn't become easier just because of some complaining by some whiny noobs, who can't stand a challenge. One of demon's souls strengths was its unique difficulty, which defined it from a line-up of easier games. And when they mentioned that the game is not impossible if you strategize, that is true. You can survive the game if you prepare for it. So far, this game is looking good. I'm going to closely follow this one.
Ah! A day one buy for me! Demon's Souls is one of the best RPGs I've played in a loooooooong time, so this is a must-play for me.
So how about other than talking about the network and online play, implement a co-op/splitscreen option!
1:30 Just finished my smores and ready to die.
Wow, no comment on the story behind the game, wonder why. Really good games generally have a really good story behind them. Hope I am not disappointed.
Did you see that guy who got rammed by ironrhino, LOL
I hope this will run smooth on consoles as it does on the PC because I only have a laptop and a 360.
@howardorr Sorry, I was feeling a little evli at the time :(
hmm... not quite sure if i want to get this....... no matter what though, going to at least rent it. I just hope there is at least a split screen form of multiplayer and a system to allow you to join a friends game because the multiplayer on demon's souls was a bit too free flowing
@jovahutcwsu Don't worry, they said that there will be more weapons and spells to use, so magic is definitely still a part of this.
They haven't shown any magical aspect of the game yet. Better have Mages in it. Really looking forward to this. Too bad it's on 360 though, that sucks.
I need help! please recommend this message!
3:12 ....... The Mako Reactor with a knight? this is the opening level of FFVII LOL
@howardorr Hehe, they said they are going to ramp the difficulty even further up :) Atleast that's what I heard. Good thing they didn't let this game be developed by an other studio.
Why the hell would they put it on xbox 360?
Why the hell would they put it on xbox 360?
@zuddet Why slag off the translator? You mean-spirited chap.
Just watching this video brings back terrifying flashbacks to Demons's Souls. I'm glad to see they won't be compromising on the difficulty.
please god, let those translators practice what they're going to say before they say it! Write it down or something! Those uh.. and um..:s are actually getting a bit annoying.
