Maxwell and Jonathan sit down to go over the new DLC coming to Dark Souls.
Only thing that someone could complain about with this game is them getting their ass kicked. This is exactly what people have been wanting in any hack n slash game. If they make a version with an army style of gameplay pitting around 8-16 people against each other then you'd be looking at game of the year at least once.
If they do release a sequel, they really need to work on their dialog. The script was awful, and even grammatically incorrect at times.
@Warsilver I agree, but the thing with from software is.. They make games for their fans to have FUN, and not money-grab. Over a year to make DLC is dedication. Skyrim? Took bethesda 6 months... and they charge 400 more MSP.
@Warsilver I don't like DLC much either, but in this case I think it might be great to some see additional content. This doesn't seem like a money-grab to me.
1 Like Well, this is DLC done right. It was not preplanned; it was made on fan request. They could've simply kept the extra content on PC and not given it to us console gamers. I both game PC and PS3 so I will be getting the PC release just because Dark Souls is one of my favorite games of all time.
@Warsilver Not bad that they are releasing a DLC, but yes it is very important that we will see a sequel. I hope that it will be with a new game engine, something next gen!
I do have one problem with the DLC - they commercialized it too much: Now there are little to no surprises awaiting for us. That's a shame, DkS and DeS were all about the unkown and fear - now will just be anticipating everything - the bosses mainly..
I love how the developer (asian guy can't remember his name) mention that they did not believe in DLC BEFORE Dark Souls was released at last years E3 2011.
Funny how they contradict themselves to make more money. Bah! I'll probably buy it nonetheless...Since i love the game so much and Demon Souls got me hooked!

i should probably work on beating that game... or maybe i should just get the DLC, seeing as i'm about halfway through the game, thus probably able to access the content as soon as i buy it :P
