As most people know dark souls isn't for everyone, with the PvP, lag stabs and bosses that are not very forgiving but it is a very rewarding game that does take skill and patience. There are times I got killed by an ambush or a random arrow, even there's a time a player came with some super armor , a giant great sword and back stab me and walk away like nothing happen.(I do the same at times, its fun when it happens to someone else.) Like the logo say be prepare to die! (or throw your controller at the t.v)
Pros
- Challenging game that keeps you on your toes.
- Has great PvP.
- Great story line that make you wonder the difference between good or evil.
- You have to earn your weapons. (unless somebody gives it to you)
- Bosses are challenging.
- You can summon allies, it makes the game a little easier
- New game plus allows you to keep you level, souls and gear and enemies will get slightly stronger so the game will remain challenging.
- If you forget to get a weapon or important item you can get it next play through.
- Has many weapons and gear so you have a lot to chose from.
- The game has a weight system so you'll have to think which gear you want. (also other players)
Cons
- Bosses are unforgiving.
- Some players you fight against will be unfair and they may gang up on you.
- The game has a steep learning curve and directions aren't very detailed so it takes a while to get to where your suppose to go.
- The games itself is unforgiving
- Hard to find bonfires at times.( especially when you need it.)
- Some players come fight you at the most random of times.
- Has a lag issue at times.
Overall its a pretty sweet game and I personally love it and played it for a year. To new players to this kind of rpg it's best you rent it first to see it suites your play style.
