Unless you first uchi wasn't got by killing the undead merchant, you can't get another in this playthrough, you must wait until you hit ng+.

You can't accidentally kill an NPC like Shiva. One hit may have pissed him off, but you could have simply walked awayand resolved your issues.

Jeez, some people just want to kill stuff.

No I hit him by accident so I ran to the bonfire and he followed me and fell off a cliff

Hehehe...poor Shiva, usually if you accidentally hurt an NPC you can get them to be "nice" again is you go to Oswald of Carim at the Gargoyle tower - when cleared.

The strategy is to use homeward bone to get the hell out of there and pay Oswald's price - (Sou lvl/2) x 500.

Get the iato from blighttown, upgrade it to the chaos blade.

The uchi and chaos are identical in size and bleed damage.

The chaos will do more damage if you have 10 humanity.

Diffrences also being the chaos is black and you lose a very small amount of health per hit.

Which you can even out by wearing the ring of the evil eye. Or even using the sanctus shield.

Video games make you smarter. If it wasn't for Monster Hunter i would have never noticed that 60 was divisible by 1,2,3,4,5,6,12 and 15.
