Can anyone post a video of the trailer? can't find it anywhere!
These are great news, hope the developers use a brand new engine, or at least make a full engine overhall and perfect the formula. Improve visuals, framerate and realism.
What do you guys think? any chance for a brand new engine? and stuff?

interesting. does not give us much to go on though. any news on the release date? sounds like the whole game is changing....perhaps they can somehow link the story between demons souls and dark souls.

Thinking there might actually be a link between this story and demon's souls. The lady in it looks like maiden in black, and at 1:05 it looks like the mouth of the old one. Call me crazy.

I'm happy someone else noticed that! The first thought I had was it being the Maiden in Black. I'm hopeful this connects Demon's Souls to Dark Souls. It would be very unexpected.

She looks nothing like the Maiden in Black. She is probably the new Astraea/Rhea we are going to be forced to kill in the end. And that looks like a cave. The mouth of the Old One was huge not to mention his body.

I thought that looked like the Old One too. Including locations from Demon's Souls and expanding on them is something I've often imagined. Perhaps appearances by some of the characters from that game such as Allant and Old King Doran as well. Even if it has nothing to do with Demon's Souls, it should be something special indeed.

Ok, the Old One is the entrance to a cave. I see that now after watching the trailer more closely. Nobody has yet mentioned, that the dragon towards the end seems to be Kalameet, (or related). Paused at 1:37, one can clearly see the one beady eye in the middle of it's forehead.

I love the fact that the trailer is followed by awesome and exciting Gothic Metal!!
Finally some heavy metal in Dark Souls - let me tell you - if this music will accompany you through the dark corridors and hordes of undead - it's gonna be thrilling. Metal gives a good adrenaline rush!
As for the other stuff - I wish the game would have some more story-drive, and will have a talking - vocal character - even if I know it's probably not the case - I still hope. Throw in a great seasoned voice actor, make an immersive atmosphere, improve gameplay and graphics and viola!
If anyone learns of the release date write it here.
