you can use it in the great hall in anor londo. kill all the enemies, then you can use it. it's purpose is to spawn in the world of the NPC that killed your firekeeper. If you die, then go back, kill the enemies in the room, and then you can try again. It'll vibrate when you're in the room, just like walkman said.
