I really love this game, it was mi first RPG even is so difficult i love to played it specially the times i spend killing generic minions to up my levels and experience and face more difficult and strong enemies, but one you get used to the game and mechanics like the "conter move" it turns lets frustrated until you cross with new enemies an situation thats way we could say this is a game of trial and error

Check out the official trailer for Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition.
Is this like Skyrim or Diablo or DragonAge? sorry Im new at videogames I just recived my new laptop and I have only watched those games on Ytube.
@jamdc2000 Great game, but if you're really new to videogames, i wouldn't recommend it, unless you aim to smash your brand new laptop to bits in frustration. The game is hard as hell. Like, WAY too hard. All the more satisfaction beating it though.
@jamdc2000 what these guys said ^^
@jamdc2000 this is not like any other game, in fact it is the only game you'll ever need :p
Dark Souls is like nothing you've ever played before. Unless you played Demon Souls... but apart from that, it's totally unique.
yea hope they have a sdk, and make it easier to do multiplayer. Was a very challenging and fun game. I hear they are making multiplayer simpler to implement in this one
Too bad this was already released on the console. There is no way I am paying the new "full price" ($50) for an old game, they decided to preferentially release on the console, then think they can release later on PC.
Sorry your tiny bit of DLC is not really worth much, when users create excellent content for Skyrim.
They chose to release on the console, if I see it on major sale I might get it, but until then I still have Skyrim. I don't need a simplified, limited no user content, action version of it.
Maybe they should only release Madden 2012 on XBox then release the same thing with some cheap DLC the next year on the PS3 at full price, but it would never fly.
I am sorry releasing the computer version alongside of the console was not a priority, but let's not pretend it is a $50 favor, giving computer users lowest priority.
@TBear7130 You honestly think that Skyrim is better than Dark Souls?
@ArcherRO It's about preference. I loved both Dark Souls and Skyrim. I beat Dark Souls twice, and though I have fond (yet masochistic) memories of it --- I still play Skyrim to this day. As far as "better" --- Skyrim has one mildly interesting Dragon versus a list of Dark Souls' famous monsters. But Dark Souls is also very psychologically lonely, even with messages on the floor and clunky NPC characters (which can be said about Skyrim as well, of course). I can't believe I just compared the two games. Maybe that makes me the millionth to do so... I'm hitting the post comment button and not looking back.
Great, now the game will be pushed back another good 2 months to October. And there is sill no sight of the system requirements.
Ps: For all Tera fans out there,a few hours in this game will make You solo BAMS with your eyes closed =)
Finished that game on PS3,and the experience totally blew me away. The game is very very dark and sinister, there is always a feeling of vulnerability accompanying you wherever you go. Death lurks behind each and every million corner. And you will die...a lot,it's a fact. :)But when you overcome some really extreme challenges, the feeling of well earned success will overwhelm you...''shortly'' ;) Enjoy it because it won't last!
Then you will die again, and again.
I will definitely buy this and play it on my pc with better res hopefully!'' Improvise, adapt then overcome...then die again '' ^.^
What a game, I have DS for the 360 and I'll be trading it in for a PC version the day it is released. This game is going to be insanity on PC, after going from the 360 to PC with Skyrim I realize how big of a gain it is, I cannot wait.
If this doesn't come out for consoles. I will probably cry... and then go get a computer that can play this
Interviewer: Will there be any change to the difficulty of the game?
From Software: Of course there will be. We will name the current difficulty normal. Then we gonna add hard, very hard and "undead must die".
The Best Will Come To PC That's Fabulous,Wonderful and Amazing I <3 Dark Souls ,unless some areas are hard xD
I was jealous of my friend who owns a PS3 because he could play this game(and demon souls). Not anymore. :)
For having finished the game on xbox 360, I can tell future PC version players : "Prepare to die". Oh and, please, don't discourage yourself after only a few hours. Put more hours in. It's gonna be rewarding. And I might very well buy the PC version too, for the extra content...!
yah this looks great, and its awesome that they listend to the pc community, lets hope it doesnt get sunk by piracy and leave a bitter taste in their mouth about pc gamers.
