Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition User Review

- "Highly addictive"
An intricate action role playing game with a steep learning curve. Once you master a few basic techniques the game really opens up and a lot of fun can be had. Masterfully sequenced fights, excellent cut scenes, even short cuts for those take time to open them and a character building system that hearkens back to the old days of gaming. Lots of replay and player vs player if so inclined. Highly recommended for anyone that wants a challenge in a open 3D action environment or some really good player vs player action. Players that are easily frustrated or not good at maneuvering in a 3D game might not be happy with this title. With some modding it can be played with keyboard and mouse, however I recommend playing with a PS3 or 360 controller. You can use these types of controllers in Windows 7 with the appropriate drivers.

The game in itself might be awesome, unfortunately you will never know unless you own a gamepad.

One thing I have to say, this is the first time when I give a game below 6 rating.
